The Regional Capital Strategy and program was launched in 2020 in partnership with the United States Economic Development Agency and Access Ventures, a Louisville-based private operating foundation, as an intentional local investment strategy to increase access to capital for our region's entrepreneurs. This initiative has been a key part of their mission to build a more inclusive and creative economy.
Programs
The Render Capital Angel Network is a strategic new program and a critical part of our educational efforts to stimulate and grow the regional economy.
The Render Capital Wefunder Match is intended to give entrepreneurs an alternative path to traditional funding. We believe a flourishing regional ecosystem requires innovative ways to access capital for entrepreneurs to promote their growth.
The Render Competition is a startup competition that support high -potential startups that need initial seed money to build and scale their solutions.
The First Dollar program provides grants to Black and brown entrepreneurs at the earliest stage of business development—when capital investment is most critical.
