## About

Render Capital was founded in 2022 by Patrick Henshaw (Managing Director), a
West Point graduate, Army Ranger, and three-time founder who previously
managed a fund-of-funds at Cintrifuse in Cincinnati. The firm is headquartered
in Clarksville, Indiana, with offices in Louisville, Kentucky and Dallas,
Texas. Render Capital is run by three operator-investors: Patrick Henshaw
(Louisville), Triet Nguyen (Principal, Dallas), and Ryan Brown (Venture
Partner, Nashville).

- **Food & Beverage** ($2T, ~7% of US GDP): brands and ingredients with momentum.
- **Healthcare & Healthtech** ($4.5T, ~18% of US GDP): provider tools and patient experience. Not pharma. Not bio.

Combined, these six sectors represent over $15.5 trillion, roughly 59% of US GDP, and are concentrated in cities Render invests in regularly.

## What Render does NOT invest in

Render does not invest in bio, life sciences, pharma, guns, lottery, ammo,
alcohol, or anything highly regulatory-burdensome or capital-intensive. The
exclusion list is a values statement, not a logistics decision.

The heartland and commerce corridor (anchored by I-65, I-75, I-20, and I-40): Louisville, Cincinnati, Indianapolis,
Nashville, Memphis, Birmingham, Atlanta, Dallas, and other cities across
Middle America where great founders are building real businesses and don't
see venture capital walking through their door.

early-stage company needs: customers, capital, and talent. We do not back
